Chloe has a unique perspective from which to help you with your puppy. She recently raised Poppy, her Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Puppy, who suffered from complex psychological challenges relating to Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) in dogs. During the past 2 years, Chloe has worked extensively with trainers and veterinary specialists to better understand and navigate the nature of Poppy's disorder, developing a strong understanding of puppy development, behaviour and psychology. Through this experience, Chloe has a lot to offer you in supporting you with your new puppy.
Chloe is currently studying a Masters of Social Work with a special interest in the mental health and wellbeing benefits of pets. Together with her experience working with children, families and in community development, Chloe brings a unique ability to tailor education to the individual needs of both humans their puppies.
Chloe is passionate about helping you to create positive experiences for your puppy through safe socialisation. Helping young dogs grow into confident, friendly companions while strengthening the bond between pets and their people is Chloe's goal.
A lifelong Canberra local, you'll find Chloe enjoying all that Canberra has to offer when she isn't working; walking around the lake, exploring nature reserves or working on her pottery projects!
Chloe holds a Working With Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration, valid in the ACT.
