There are numerous applications for Kongs throughout your dogs daily routine. The best part is they aren't just a trick that is useful during the early puppy stages, but are helpful in adulthood too.
Kongs help to:
- Provide cognitive stimulation
- Exert mental energy in a healthy way
- Can help combat separation anxiety
- Alleviate teething pain in puppies
- Help to create positive associations
- Assist with weight management
- Provide acceptable chewing outlet
Soak dry food or place wet food inside an appropriately sized puppy Kong. Freeze overnight and give to your puppy just before you leave the house/leave them on their own. This will not only provide a chew toy that soothes teething pain, but it also long lasting, challenging and stimulating for your puppy. It also distracts your puppy from the fact that you have left the house, which may alleviate separation anxiety. As your dog grow up, this can be replicated in a larger sized Kong for adults dogs (red).
Note: if in doubt with regards to Kong size, go a size up. Kongs should not be able to fit wholly in the oral cavity and can become lodged.
Mix tune in spring water together with plain yoghurt, par boiled eggs, cooked carrots, greens and cooked minced meat into a paddy texture.
Pack Kongs and freeze until ready to serve!

It doesn't get easier than this:
Soak high quality (Hills or Royal Canin) dry kibble in hot water for 20 mins until a paste forms.

Add sliced banana.
Pack Kongs and freeze until ready to serve!
Boil eggs and asparagus together with other veggies e.g. carrots, broccoli.

Add plan yoghurt and smash into a paste.
Pack Kongs and freeze until ready to serve!
